This chuck mounts your current lathe chuck (1” x 8TPI) to its body, and can be calibrated to make off center turning with 3, 4, or 6 sides. You will be amazed at the variations and configurations of turnings that this system can produce including multiple faceted sides and spiraling effects. Using this standard mounting chuck you can mount and turn off center turnings of spindles, bowls, candlesticks, cups and numerous other turning projects. In addition we’ve included turning mandrels for pens and bottle stoppers. These attachments also allow you to make 3, 4, and 6 sided pens and bottle stoppers.
